In addition to an extensive list of amazing craft beer and delicious barbecue from local grill masters, there will be so many fun things for you to do this Saturday, May 16 from 3pm to 10pm at the Brews and BBQ Festival at Ives Concert Park.

So many activities!

Let's start with our favorite activity (besides drinking of course) ... dancing. You can dance your butt off to the awesome sounds of three live bands!

i95 Moosie Award winners, The Trolls start off the day. They're the band who kept the dance floor packed at our Connecticut Wing Fest event. Next up is local band Nashville Drive, for some down home tunes.

Then we'll have (drum roll please) ... Robert Randolph and the Family Band, we're so excited about them being the headliner that we can hardly contain ourselves.

Are you a smoker? Then you can enjoy a stogie from Butthead's Tobacco at their outdoor cigar lounge. They'll have representatives there to school you on some cigar knowledge and sell you the finest tobacco products.

Boats ... we also have boats! MacDonald Marine is going to be onsite with an actual boat you can check out and walk around in.

You can also get a little shopping in, as we'll have tons of vendors selling various items including t-shirts, sunglasses and more! Here's the vendor list:

  • Agriventures Agway
  • Buttheads Tobacco
  • Emporium
  • Danbury Auto
  • Spring and Welding
  • Danbury Westerners
  • Interstate All
  • Battery Center
  • Ireland On The Road
  • Next Step Living
  • Stop and Shop
  • Hat City Pools
  • Danbury Tattoo
  • Mystery Ink
  • Storm Guard

It's seriously going to be the best time ever and you really need to be there. If you buy your ticket online you'll save $5 and get your first beer on us! Win ... win.

Otherwise it's $20 at the door, which is still a steal to attend the area's hottest summer kick-off event with three amazing live bands. You can buy your tickets at americaontap.com/brews-bbq.

We'll see you there!
