States Most Likely to Be Seen as Conspiracy Theorists: Did CT Make the Top 10?

This will NOT be an article about mine or anyone else's political affiliation or what they believe in. The bottom line is that I am not writing this article to "stir the pot." I believe that no matter which side you're on, whether it be right or left, most of you will stay loyal to your cause. I just wanted to have some fun.

First, thanks to the website oddspedia, we'll examine which states are most likely to have conspiracy theorists and which are not. I don't think you'll be too surprised. First...the Key Findings:

• 80% of Americans acknowledge belief in conspiracy theories...
• 83% of Americans believe conspiracy theories sway public opinion...
• 70% of Americans named Facebook and Twitter as the top platforms for spreading conspiracy theories...

Republicans remain 2.5 times more likely than Democrats to hold a major or modest belief in conspiracy theories.  The Top 10 States Most Likely to Be Seen As Conspiracy Theorists:

1. Florida
2. California
3. Texas
4. Alabama
5. New York
6. Mississippi
7. Kentucky
8. Nevada
9. Washington
10. District of Columbia

Connecticut, Oregon, Delaware, Minnesota, Montana, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Vermont, Hawaii, and Maryland were the states least likely to believe in conspiracy theories.
