The Hartford Wolf Pack is coming to the Danbury Ice Arena. On Monday, the Wolf Pack's general manager, Chris Drury announced in a press release that the American Hockey League team will be playing a preseason game on September 25th against the Springfield Thunderbirds. Puck drops at 7pm, and tickets for the event will be announced at a later date. However if you are a Danbury Hat Tricks season ticket holder, you get a complimentary ticket to this matchup as well.

Part of the night will also be dedicated to the Western Junior Colonials, a youth hockey organization that offers the boys and girls of the Greater Danbury are the chance to learn hockey and improve their skills. More information on the Jr. Colonials here. A portion of the night's proceeds will go towards the youth hockey development program.

September 25th will be the start of the final countdown to the return of Danbury hockey. The Hat Tricks start their first season in a match against the Port Huron Prowlers on October 25th, game time is 7pm.
