New Milford High School has just announced their latest inductees into the school's Hall of Fame.

The careers of these twelve outstanding student athletes span more then 68 years from the Class of '47 to the Class of 2012.

These Green Wave alumni have demonstrated outstanding on field achievements during their playing days at New Milford High School, and according to newstimes.com, they will be inducted on Saturday, October 27, at the Hall of Fame banquet ceremony at Fairview Farm Golf Course in Harwinton.

Here are this year's inductees into the New Milford High Hall Of Fame:

Alfred “Sonny” Zaloski, Class of 1947: A 3-sport athlete in Football, Basketball, and Baseball.

Bryan Riley, Class of 1975: A standout in Football, Basketball, and Golf.

Maggie Rinaldi Chappuis, Class of 1980: She put track on the map at New Milford High School. She is also considered one of the most dominant runners in the schools history.

Trey Lavalette, Class of 1982: When it comes to short distance running, Trey is considered one of the best ever at NMHS. He set school marks in the 100, 200, and 400 meter runs that remain school records to this day.

John McCafferty, Class of 1983: Another running standout at NMHS. His rivalries with other elite runners from Bethel and East Catholic still rank among some of the top rivalries in state history.

Louis Heaton, Class of 1984: A two sport standout in Football and Basketball.

John Ndukwu, Class of 1984: A three sport athlete who dominated in Football, Basketball, and Track and Field.

Alexis Thompson, Class of 1990: She was a dominant force in both Soccer, and Track and field.

Morgan Brady, Class of 1997: Another three sport athlete who's Field Hockey ability made her a force and one of the best in Green Wave history.

Jeanna Bradle, Class of 2006: A record setting gymnast, one of the best in the SWC, the State and New England.

Meghan Johnson, Class of 2008: A three sport standout, Meghan was a 12-letter athlete in Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball.

Conor Kirkegard, Class of 2012: Considered the best lightweight competitor in Green Wave wrestling history. His grit and talent led the Green Wave in the SWC, State and New England Championships.

Congratulations to the newest New Milford High Hall of Fame inductees. The class of 2019 Hall of Fame class will be announced during the spring of 2019.
