The Silver Alert issued on Tuesday for a New Canaan mother and her two children has been canceled after the three were found safe in a New York City hotel.

A press release from the New Canaan Police Department reported that the mother, and her two children, a 7-year-old and a 4-year-old are believed to be in New York City.

The two children were reportedly driven into NYC via a livery service and do not have any access to vehicles. The last contact with the three was by phone on Monday, September 10 at 1:30pm.

New Canaan police are asking for the public's help with locating these three individuals. They are working closely with the NYPD to find the mom and her two kids. If anyone has seen or know the family, please contact the New Canaan Police Department at 203-594-3500 and reference case #18-12497. No details were given involving the circumstances of the family's disappearance.
