Well, the Spring tease has been nice, but it looks as though it was just that -- a tease.

After a number of days that saw warm temperatures way above the average for this time of year, and some sunshine that has been a more than welcome break from the dark, dingy, cabin-fever inducing skies we're used to in February, the latest forecast says that we're in for some winter weather.

According to the National Weather Service, a Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for the Greater Danbury area, Northern Fairfield County, Putnam County and Dutchess County. Pockets of freezing rain are possible as we head into the evening, which, as temperatures drop into the low-30s, can obviously cause some sloppy and slippery conditions.

As the temperatures fluctuate throughout both Thursday and Friday, rain is expected, which can result in areas of patchy fog.

We'll be sure to keep the forecast updated as more information rolls in.
