After the eighth consecutive day of a declining number of hospitalizations due to the novel coronavirus in Connecticut, Gov. Ned Lamont has provided the public with details on some of the criteria that needs to be met for the reopening of the state's economy.

In a news briefing on Thursday afternoon (April 30) Gov. Lamont presented the State of Connecticut's initial reopening approach, which will ideally happen in multiple phases beginning on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.

Connecticut's Reopening Criteria

While Gov. Lamont did not include the reopening of schools in the initial outline, he noted that more details in that regard will be coming next week.
