The Danbury Police Department is looking to local residents for help identifying two suspects who they believe were involved in a string of break-ins and car thefts.

According to a social media post from the DPD on Friday (July 20) patrol units responded to the area of Hillandale Rd, East Gate Rd, Westville Ave. and Town Hill Ave. after dispatchers received several reports of cars being broken into and three complaints of vehicles being stolen.

Police say the still photos of the suspects came from home surveillance cameras that captured the accused duo going through cars that were left unlocked. The three cars that were reported stolen were also reportedly left unlocked with the keys inside of them.
