In an effort to get everyone tested for the coronavirus, the Connecticut Community Health Center has set up drive-thru or walk-up testing in Danbury.

Over the last few months, if you felt like you may have symptoms of the coronavirus, you would have to call your primary physician, get a quick check up, and then you would get an appointment for a COVID-19 test.

Now, thanks to the Connecticut Community Health Center, walk-up and drive-thru testing is available in Danbury to anyone who wants to be tested. The testing site has been set up at 8 Delay Street, and will be open Monday to Friday from 9 AM until 1 PM.

You don't need to have any symptoms, and don't even need an appointment, although an appointment is encouraged. You don't even have to be a CHC patient, although if you're not a CHC patient, you will have to call them at (475) 241-0740.

You can also get tested as many times as needed, which is recommended for those working in the food or other industries where you have close access to others, and frequent testing is important. After you are tested, you will receive your results by phone in 2-3 days.
