The Connecticut Whale general manager announced on Monday that the Whale's Women team will be holding their practices and home games at the Danbury Ice Arena.

The Whale's GM, Bray Ketchum, stated that they are "very proud to establish a partnership with Danbury Arena" and they "hope to make Danbury Arena the home of the Connecticut Whale for many seasons to come.” The Whale used to play at the Terry Conners Ice Rink in Stamford, Connecticut.

The Danbury Ice Arena is going to be a very busy place in the coming months. It will be home to the Danbury Hat Tricks (a part of the Federal Hockey League), Danbury Colonials (who play in the NA3HL), and serve as a venue for the Junior Rangers Girls Hockey- a program created and sponsored by the New York Rangers.

The Connecticut Whale schedule for the 2019-2020 season is expected to be announced at the end of July. A preseason game against the UConn Huskies was revealed to take place on September 28th at 3pm. This match will take place at the Freitas Ice Forum.
