I have never in my 31 years on Candlewood Lake looked forward to the 2018 boating season as I am right now. Bring it!

The Candlewood Lake Authority has posted a heads-up on their website about their 2018 State of the Lake invitation on Sunday, April 22 at the Sherman Volunteer Fire Department ESF Charter Hall from 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm called. "A Discussion With the CLA." Reservations are required by filling out the form by clicking on this link.

Lake lovers and homeowners will be happy to hear that the 4,450 sterile carp released this past summer are doing their job by stuffing themselves with the invasive Eurasian watermilfoil. For all the specifics on the hows and whys of the sterile carp, click this link.
