Whole Foods tends to be one of those grocery stores where you can't just go in and buy one thing. Hopefully two certain types of salads aren't one of the things you've brought home.

According to The News-Times, Whole Foods has recalled their curry chicken salad and deli pasta salads sold in area stores to do listeria contamination. The salads were sold in Connecticut and New York stores, as well as Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Jersey stores too.

These particular salads were sold from Oct. 18 through Oct. 22 and have a sell-by date of Oct. 23. This found contamination was spotted during a routine sampling of the store's salads during a regular inspection.

Listeria can apparently cause fever, severe headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and possible diarrhea and is potentially fatal if ingested by customers. Whole Foods says to bring the products back for a full refund.
