You would think that a Yankee fan like myself would not want to talk to a Sox big wig. You would be wrong. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Adam Grossman is the head of the marketing department with the Sox. He came on the show to talk up the team's off-season fan fest, but we also got some great baseball questions in.

We talked about the team's lack of offensive moves in the off-season, the rumors about J.D. Martinez, the health of Dustin Pedroia, the fan base and what the Sox think of the Stanton signing in N.Y. Here's the interview in full:

I have found that the Red Sox Universe is divided on where the team will stand coming into this year. The Boston media seems to think the Red Sox have what they need already to compete in the AL East and the fans are not as optimistic. I think the fans and media will be on the same page should Boston land J.D. Martinez.

But enough about the Red Sox. One of my goals for 2018 is to get Cashman on the Ethan and Lou show to talk about the other side. The good guys are coming. I sent the e-mail this morning. If we can get Brian Cashman to stop scaling the side of buildings and answer the phone, we will be all set.
