A Putnam County man was arrested after allegedly being caught driving with two pounds of marijuana.

If you're dumb enough to drive with two pounds of pot in your car, you probably deserve to be arrested.

Michael S. Capezzuto, 28, of Brewster, NY, was traveling on I-90 when he was stopped by State Troopers for, according to a press release, multiple traffic violations.

Following the traffic stop and initial investigation, Capezzuto was found to be in possession of two pounds of marijuana.

Capezzuto was arrested and charged with criminal possession of marijuana, a felony; unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation; and multiple vehicle and traffic violations.

He was processed at the Albany barracks and arraigned in the Town of Schodack Court. He was remanded to Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or bond.
