A piece of equipment inside of a Connecticut State Trooper's car led to the arrest of a man who police say is the 12th and final suspect in the highly publicized murder of 15-year-old Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz.

According to a press release from the Connecticut State Police, Troopers from Troop-A in Southbury were patrolling the eastbound side of I-84 in the Greater Danbury Area when a trooper's License Plate Reader (LPR) alerted them that a vehicle in their vicinity was wanted in connection to the brutal murder that happened in the Bronx last month.

Upon receiving the alert, several state troopers and Western District Major Crime Detectives stopped the vehicle right near exit 13 on I-84 in Southbury. When the troopers positively identified 25-year-old Luis A. Cabrarasantos of Bronx, NY, he was detained until NYPD detectives arrived.

At that time, Cabrarasantos was interviewed as a part of the homicide investigation and arrested as the result of an extraditable arrest warrant. He was charged with being a fugitive from justice.

Cabrarasantos was held on $1 million bond and taken to New Haven Correction Center where he is being held pending a court appearance in Waterbury before he will be extradited back to New York.
