Are ya sick of winter yet? Well, hang on to your parka and snow shovels because it ain't over!

The National Weather Service has issued yet another alert for Putnam and Dutchess Counties and the Greater Danbury Area. The Hazardous Weather Outlook says that tonight's ride home may be a bit treacherous. Snow showers are set to begin and we may have brief periods of very heavy snowfall. This will continue into tonight. The roads, of course, will be slippery (to say the least) coupled with the poor visibility that the heavy snow will bring will make for some treacherous driving conditions.

Today and Tonight: Scattered snow showers late this afternoon into this evening may be briefly heavy, resulting in reduced visibilities and slick road condition during the evening commute. -National Weather Service

If you are planning on driving this evening, please be careful and make sure to allow for unsafe conditions.
