New Milford Latest Target Of Car Burglars
Several area towns have been hit by a series of car burglaries. New Milford is the latest town to warn residents about cars being broken into.
In a Facebook post, the New Milford Police Department reported that they investigated a series of car burglaries on Jotham Road, Crest Lane, Ridge Crest Drive and Meadowwood Drive. The Police Department reminded residents to lock their cars and bring any valuables inside the house.
Unfortunately this is the world we live in now. As much as we fondly remember the days when we could keep our cars unlocked, with the keys in them no less, the reality is that those days are long gone, even in small towns.
The Police department also asked anyone who notices suspicious activity in their neighborhood to notify Police.
