The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for our area with the possibilty of a tornado. The details of this latest alert are as follows:

Severe thunderstorm development is possible this afternoon and evening. The primary threat is damaging winds, however an isolated tornado is also possible. There is also a low flash flood threat with the heaviest storms. - National Weather Service

The National Weather Service is predicting showers and thundershowers strong wind and very heavy rain for a 12 hour period which will most likely begin after 2:00pm today and will continue until early Saturday morning.

After our area was hit with a series of tornadoes and macroburts on May 15, 2018, most residents are still shell-shocked when it comes to weather. I'll be honest, I had never even heard of a "macroburst" before that day. Since that day, I pay attention to the weather forecast a heck of a lot more than I used to.
