"No Shave November" gives the New Milford Police Department a chance to honor one of their own.

It's a month-long journey where participants choose not to shave or groom to raise cancer awareness. On October 24, 2017, the New Milford PD lost one of their own to cancer, Officer Edward E. Delisle.

Fellow officers have made the decision to put their razors away for the month of November and use the money they would spend on shaving gear to help fund the Connecticut Cancer Foundation(CCF) whose goal is to reduce the burden of cancer for Connecticut cancer patients and their families both financially and emotionally.
