How to Avoid Being Pulled Over by a CT Trooper Over Thanksgiving Weekend

CT State Police have asked I-95 to pass along an important warning to all Connecticut drivers.

They want you to know they will be all over the state with roving patrols and DUI checkpoints aggressively focusing on aggressive drivers, unsafe drivers, and drunk drivers during the long Thanksgiving weekend. CT State Troopers will also be conducting a Seatbelt Enforcement Wave through Sunday, November 26. The following are some of the Roving Patrols and DUI Checkpoints planned for Connecticut.

**Troop A, Southbury - Wednesday, Nov. 21 (8:00pm-4:00am) and Saturday, Nov. 24, Roving DUI enforcement patrols (I-84 Danbury to Waterbury)

**Troop B, North Canaan - Wednesday, Nov, 21 - Roving DUI enforcement patrols on Rt. 7, Rt. 63, and Rt. 44 in Canaan, Salisbury, and Norfolk .

**Troop G, Bridgeport - Wednesday, Nov. 21 (8:00pm-4:00am) I-95, I-91, and Rt. 34 in the New Haven area...

**Troop G, Bridgeport - Friday, Nov. 23 (8:00pm-4:00am) I-95, Rt. 8, and Rt. 25 in the Bridgeport, Stratford, and Trumbull area....

**Troop H, Hartford - Wednesday, Nov. 21 - Sunday, Nov. 25 - Troopers conducting roving patrols for DUI enforcement on I-84, and I-91
