How About a Romantic Stay at Richard Gere’s Local Inn?
Lots of people say Fall is the most romantic season of all. While we watch the leaves turn, we'll be on the look out for some really cool romantic places to send you to. We found a spot you don't have to drive far to get to, that looks like a great getaway for some rest and relaxation.
The Bedford Post Inn, located in the town of Bedford in Westchester County, happens to be co-owned by actor, activist and Pound Ridge resident, Richard Gere. The historic inn has eight luxurious rooms and two farm-to-table restaurants and more, as the property was rescued and restored by Richard and his partners. It dates back to as far as the 1860s.
Some of the rooms have working fireplaces, and some have terraces, and they all look amazing. Even if you don't want to stay overnight, you could probably stop by, check the restaurant, have a drink and enjoy the ambience.A reader on Trip Advisor said: "The grounds are so beautiful and tranquil!"
The Bedford Post Inn is located at 954 Old Post Road in Bedford, NY.
