It's Oscar madness this Saturday at the Palace Theater in Danbury, as they give you a chance to see all the short films nominated at this year's Academy Awards.

The Academy Award nominated short films are often the movies that are seen the least, and they're usually not shown in most theaters. That's why this is a golden opportunity to catch all the films that are nominated this year at one place and on one day.

The short films marathon starts at 2 pm Saturday with the world of animated films. Then, at 4 pm, things kick up a notch with live action shorts, and at 7 PM, the marathon wraps up with documentary films.

Since the Academy Awards don't go down until Sunday night, you can be the only person at your Oscar Party who's got the inside scoop on all the short film categories.

Most of the films being show are anywhere between six minutes and 45 minutes long. Tickets are just $12 for each showing and $15 the day of the show. Plus, the Palace Danbury is offering a special Oscar Pass, where you can get tickets for all three showings for one low price. Just call the Palace Danbury box office at 203-794-9944 to pick up your Oscar Pass.

Here's a trailer of all the short films nominated, and you'll see during the marathon:
