Unless you've been living under a rock for the last month or so, you have probably heard about the Fore 'N Aft Benefit Concert happening Saturday at the Ives Concert Park in Danbury. We're talking a day of major Rock History here. The Fore 'N Aft was THE place to go for live rock music from the late 60's through the early 80's. The Fore 'N Aft returns for one day at the Ives this Saturday, with many of the bands that played there regularly either literally "putting the band back together" for the day or appearing with their current configuration.

Here's the lineup of bands so that you can plan your day.

12:00- 12:45 PM- Dan's Garage
1:00- 1:45 PM- Hey Baby Band
2:00- 2:45 PM- Whitewood
3:00- 3:45 PM- Future Tense
4:00- 4:45 PM- Paralax
5:00- 5:45 PM- Richie Scarlet
6:00- 6:45 PM- Doug Walhberg Band
7:00- 7:45 PM Limelight
8:00- 8:45 PM- Witch Hunt
9:00-10:30 PM- Rat Race Choir & Surprises

There will also be several surprise guests throughout the day. The Hillside Food Outreach, Ann's Place, the ALS Association and National Adoption Foundation will be on hand as well. Patrons are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Hillside Food Outreach to help restock their pantry.

Whether you hung out at the Fore 'N Aft or not, everyone is welcome. Expect a day of bands and people you haven't seen in a long time. The forecast is looking good so far and it should be one of the best days of the year at the Ives. Tickets are available here. Come back baby, rock & roll never forgets!
