Firefighters brought an early morning blaze at Daryl's House under control on Fourth of July.

According to a post at the Eastern Dutchess County Fire and Rescue Facebook page, the fire at the popular Pawling restaurant and music venue on Route 22 erupted around 4AM. The Eastern Dutchess County Fire and Rescue Facebook page monitors fire department radio call traffic.

The page's administrators reported the fire was out by 5:05PM.

The extent of the damage to the club is not currently known. Images posted on the Eastern Dutchess County Fire and Rescue Facebook page show the Daryl's House sign burned up by the fire and the front of the building charred.

The page's administrators, firefighters from Pawling, Patterson and Beekman fire companies responded to the alarm. Dover, East Fishkill and Sherman, Conn. fire companies served as backup for any potential calls for towns with firefighters responding to the Daryl's House blaze during that time.
