Now it is easier than ever to make sure that a local restaurant makes the grade. The Danbury Health and Human Services Department have made monthly health inspections of eateries in the Danbury area available on their website.

Whether you are planning an evening out for dinner, or a casual lunch, or maybe a Sunday brunch, you are now a click away from finding out if the restaurant that you are heading to has passed it's latest inspection by the Health Department. You can also view the form that The DPH uses to rate each food establishment.

Of course, protection and sources of food are things that are on the radar, but there are more than 62 items which determine if a restaurant passes or fails the inspection. Things like the cleanliness of the employees, plumbing, lighting, floors, walls, ceilings and documentation of training programs.
