  • Connecticut's hospitals are continuing to push back over Governor Dan Malloy's $192 million cut in Medicaid funding. The Governor's office says the protests come from highly compensated hospital executives. Malloy says hospitals that are supposed to be non-profit have been reaping huge profits on the backs of state taxpayers.
  • Looking to own a restaurant? Here's an opportunity. The Chuck Wagon, which has operated for over 40 years in the town of Washington, is closing for good next week. Restaurant owner Casey Stone says it was a difficult decision to close, but operating a restaurant is getting more difficult as she gets older. Stone is selling the business, and says there has been a lot of interest but no contract has been signed.
  • Did you take in the sights around Connecticut? Governor Malloy says we experienced a big jump in tourism this past summer. Malloy says a survey of around two-dozen of the state's biggest tourist destinations shows a 12-percent increase in visitors from June to August of this year. The governor says this is another sign that efforts to make the state more of a tourist destination are paying off.
  • It starts today! McDonald's will be serving breakfast all day. Nine breakfast items in total will make the menu. The only regular item that won't be served all day is the McGriddle. What will you Jones for the most?
