Did Your School Make the List of Top High Schools in Connecticut?
According to Niche, a company that ranks schools from all over the United States, many of Connecticut's public school districts are some of the best in the nation.Nine thousand two hundred and twenty nine school districts were ranked according to academics, health and safety, student culture and diversity, survey responses, teacher grades, resources and facilities, extracurricular activities, and sports and fitness.
The grading process and the computations are very complicated, so I'm just going to give you some of their findings.
I'm thrilled to report that seven out of the top ten school districts in Connecticut were schools in the heart of the i95 listening area:
- New Caanan
- Westport
- Darien
- Ridgefield
- Glastonbury
- Simsbury
- Wilton
- Weston
- Greenwich
- Newtown
Congrats! Schools that made the Top 25 were Monroe, Brookfield, Trumbull, and Fairfield.
Out of 9,229 public schools that were ranked across the USA, Chappaqua was 10th, New Caanan was 19th, Westport came in at 30, Weston was 66, Darien was ranked 73 and Ridgefield at 79.
Impressive to say the least!
