Check out how this one Connecticut family totally decked out their home and more for this holiday season. It's one over the top electric bill for sure.

Wowza, this family is amazing, truly. And that is saying a lot if you see the creativeness and pulling-out-all-the-stops, that these families all around the country do in this reality show competition. #lightfight

Have you stumbled on the ABC TV reality show called The Great Christmas Light Fight?

If you haven't, you sure should, since the kick off to its 5th season saw a family in Connecticut lighting up the skies in a BIG way! The show runs on Monday nights in December, with two more segments set to air on Dec. 11 and Dec. 18. They are ready to amaze the viewers with so much creative light you'll be, well frankly, amazed.

The show's new season saw it's start on Dec. 4 and look what happened. The video on the Amarante's Winter Wonderland Facebook page would take even Scrooge's breath away

The big $50,000 win was covered by wtnh.com and in the real spirit of the holiday season, home owner Daniel Amarante had this to say:

Amarante’s Winter Wonderland started 11 years ago. We collect for three local charities right here in Windham County

According to a post on the Amarante's Winter Wonderland Facebook page this 2017 season we will be donating to Make-A-Wish CT, The Arc Quinebaug Valley, and Feed The Need Food Pantry.

If you'd like to see the Amarante's Winter Wonderland jaw dropping walk-through display of over 150,000 Christmas Lights, they are located at 8 Pratt Road in Dayville Connecticut. I'm thinking in person is absolutely the way to go, so it's time to plan a road trip.

Now that's what I call some serious "Fa-La-La"
