Every year as one of the judges for BandJam, I get to witness some of the best teenage musical talent on the Ridgefield Playhouse stage.

On April 30, 2017 at the Ridgefield Playhouse, you're invited to experience some of the best teenage rock n' roll bands in Connecticut and New York. That's what the 8th Annual Ridgefield BandJam is all about. Just in case you weren't aware, the Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit organization and is funded, in part by your donations and fundraising events like BandJam.

Even though performance day is over 4 months away, the registration deadline is coming up fast. If you're in middle or high school and in a rock band and think you're ready to play the Ridgefield Playhouse, BandJam 2017 is waiting for your entry form.  The entry deadline is Saturday, February 25th and must include two of your band's songs in mp3 format. At least one of the songs must be a cover tune. Once the 16 semi-finalists are chosen, live tryouts will be scheduled for March 13 and 14. Go to ridgefieldbandjam.com to print out your entry form.
