5 Companies Hiring Veterans and Their Families in the Danbury Area
There will be dozens of employers at Townsquare Danbury’s Veterans Career Fair on June 1 at the Ethan Allen Hotel in Danbury that are looking to hire those that have served our country in the armed forces, including ESPN and Yale University.
The career fair is also open to family members and friends of veterans. You can get all the details on the event here.
Here’s some info about five of the employers who are hiring at our career fair:

ESPN
Sports media conglomerate, ESPN, will be reviewing resumes for part-time positions for protective service workers at the Veterans Career Fair. ESPN Inc., is based in Bristol, CT and owned by The Walt Disney Company and Hearst Corporation.

Sertex LLC
Specialized in utility and telecommunications, Sertex LLC builds critical infrastructure for communications, utilities, and municipalities throughout the northeast, with extensive projects in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
They are looking for full-time positions for construction trades workers, fiber optic lineman, groundman, and tech.

Townsquare Danbury is a media business that produces radio shows, websites and sales promotion products.

Norwalk Police Department
Norwalk Police Department protects and serves city of Norwalk and its citizens. They recruit, test, and train all of their new officers.
